WHY Hi- story?

Because precisely history obliges us to approach it in different ways

Because in the present, the past and the future conjunct

Because the stories from the past indebt our future

Because to think differently is more than a necessity

Because one must protest

Because the past has many and different facets which must be explored

Because the citizen is born out of a protest

Because it can and it must be differently, because we refuse to believe in one "historical truth"

Because Hi-story is a protest against the apathy and indifference

Because we understand the history as an endless chain into which each new generation incorporates a new link

Because we believe that only and echo of different opinions can bring us closer to the worlds long extinct

Because we want to argue, to discuss, and, most of all, to be criticized through arguments

Because we welcome every "story" which provokes to be continued

Because everything that happened "yesterday" is already history

Because the different perspectives of observation can lead to a probable story about the past

Because to be one’s own means never to vary from the principles (scientific and ethical), but to always have the capability to change the assessments

Because of the kindness and understanding of the authors who, believing in the idea which stands behind the magazine, accepted to submit the paper without a single denar of compensation

Because we will send the magazine to all parts of the globe

Because of "the Angel of History" (W. Benjamin), the wings of whom are constantly spread over what seemingly are just broken pieces of time.
